So?
It’s quite sad that no one has blogged since February. So I decided to leave a note for this sad little blog.
I love the library!
That is all.

Implied Spaces

Follow Aristide, a sword-bearing scientist, in a rolicking space adventure as he tries to solve a mystery – who or what is trying to take over humanity and why? At his side, is the cat Bitsy, the avatar of the planet-sized computer Endora. Even with a super computer at his side, Aristide confronts zombies, gets captured, and even killed several times. This is a fun read and a great first book for someone who wants to try the science fiction genre.

Celebrities&Crime
You might think that only the people in your neighborhood can commit crime. Well, it’s many of our popular celebritites that have too. It doesn’t matter who you are. I really enjoyed reading this book. It reminds our fellow Americans that just being famous does not keep you from going to jail. IF YOU CAN’T DO THE TIME DON’T DO THE CRIME!

The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis
The Screwtape Letters is well, obviously a series of letters written by a demon who goes by the name of Screwtape. He writes to his juvenile nephew giving him advice on how he can please their “Father Below”.
The books gives some insights on religion, politics, and satires the way a human lives their life.
WARNING: This is a Lewis classic, and is written as such. There are big words and illustrations that are difficult to read. You may have to reread many passages to understand the concepts he presents.
Other than that, its a great book! You may actually learn a thing or two.

The Seriously Funny Life of Mel Brooks
This biography about the famous Director/ Actor is very informative about Mel Brook’s life. He started life as a Russian Jew raised Melvin Kaminsky. James Robert Parish details most every tidbit of information about Mel Brooks, describing his early career in the Jewish Catskills and his experiences in World War II. I highly recommend this book for Mel Brooks fans and also anyone who does not know who Mel Brooks is.
